Young Indian managers find themselves facing a unique challenge
as they prepare to face the ever-changing corporate world. In the
wake of advancement of knowledge and technology, the department
of business administration, established in the year 1986, has now
emerged as Institute of Management, with it’s vision of providing
best managers for corporate world. The students, faculty, staff
and authorities share common goals in a sphere that is dynamic,
team oriented, besides being intellectually stimulating.

Management has emerged as one of
the global disciplines of study and research in recent days. The
limited availability of resources, keen competition and consumer
satisfaction factors have become important in even the non-trading
sector. The management education and training has now been identified
not only as the business education but as the education of system
to manage scarce resources of funds, time, energy and space to produce
the maximum benefit to the society as a whole. Skills of trained
managers are required in every walk of life. Hence, the need of
management education in different fields has become necessary. The

The transformation
from regulation to liberation, from protection to globalization
and from planned economy to market economy demand new visions, new
approaches and new skills to accelerate the speed of growth and
prosperity and success in the time to come. All these factors led
to the Degree of Master of Business Administration being offered
by the Department of Business Administration since 1986. The establishment
of the department can be regarded as a landmark not only for the
Bundelkhand region but also for the entire nation. Its recognition
by AICTE has added another feather to it’s cap. All round efforts
have been made to impart relevant training to our MBA students to
develop multifaceted personality, to attain spectacular growth and
development in this present business world. The department admits
40 students every year in M.B.A. and has been able to produce the
top fleet professionals with exposure and expertise in corporate
policy, computer base management information systems, international
marketing, advertising and sales, human relations, capital market
and financial services. This MBA program seeks to provide superior
skills to students relevant to meet the challenges of next millennium.
The department has introduced Courses of, Master of International
Business Management and Bachelor of Business Administration from
the last academic session, 2000-2001.
